disgust

3 things disgusted me today

1. on a joking note: being back at school and all the craziness that this semester's going to entail.

2. on a serious (or, sirius) note i flipped over to hear howard stern this morning for about 30 seconds. they were talking about ejaculate and that was enough, i mean too much, for me. according to cnn, he promises to have live sex on his show. it's so disgusting and really sad. i love sirius, they have some great music channels (i flip among about 10 of them) and i've been a subsciber for over a year. but the fact that they are betting so heavily on howard stern, and the fact that it's paying off is very sad. i guess that's the world we live in.

3. a theater in utah is refusing to show brokeback mountain because of it's homosexual content. great, good for you. but it's such a double standard. what about the other rated r movies? is the theater showing them. it's easy for people to be repulsed by the idea of homosexual relationships and what they involve, but what about the heterosexual sex scenes? or the drugs, violence, and other immoral things that so many rated r movies depict? does the theater refuse to show those as well, or is it okay to make money off of them, just not one with two gay cowboys? it just doesn't make sense to me.
