here's a little retro feel for the new year.
spent new years up on lake burton with the camp owners' family. shot a lot of fireworks, got to see the lake down for the first time, and most importantly: got to see the progress on the new gym.
why am i so excited about a concrete slab and a roof? because it rains just about every day up there, and that makes for some pretty miserable campers. having a place to do activities during the rain makes our camp a lot more appealing and marketable as well, so i'm thrilled to see it being constructed.
lightning hit our front yard last night and took out a tv and our internet temporarily. that makes it quite difficult to build a web site for my dad, but now we're back on. i'll post a link to it once it's up.
