so i've just come to the realization that today is my last day of freedom. it's my last day to be lazy, last day without responsibilities. today is the last day before i start classes in my final undergrad semester. this semester will be my toughest and so defining for me. i'll be student teaching, looking for a job, doing whatever assignments i have to do, and getting ready to run a summer of camp. and just when i'm wrapping up camp, i'll be pre-planning for my first year of teaching. so this is it, the real world starts today.
11When I was a child, I talked like a child, I thought like a child, I reasoned like a child. When I became a man, I put childish ways behind me. 12Now we see but a poor reflection as in a mirror; then we shall see face to face. Now I know in part; then I shall know fully, even as I am fully known. 13And now these three remain: faith, hope and love. But the greatest of these is love.who am i kidding... i'm always gonna be a kid. just a more responsible one. ;-)
1 Corinthians 13
welcome to the first day of the rest of your life. I'm sure there will always be time to slack off and be lazy, you gotta have some good downtime.
