so as long as i've known about them, i've been fascinated with personality types and how well they explain me. they might read like a horoscope to some, but for the most part they're pretty accurate.

so when i took it back in high school, and then again in college, i was an INFP a.k.a. "the idealist." well apparently after working 2 years in the real world, i've turned into an INTP "the thinker."
i can see traits of both in myself. the overwhelming score when i take these things is that i'm an introvert. i don't think anyone's ever questioned that about me. there have been periods in my life where i have been more social than others. but for the most part i get the most satisfaction reading magazines, listening to music i've discovered that fits me, looking through photoblogs and basically learning about things that interest me.
since school's gotten out, it's been my gadgets. i bought a digital camcorder and a flash for my nikon with gift cards from the shower they threw for me at school. earlier this week i bought a gps and it got here today. megan laughs at me, but i can't wait to read the manual for my flash -- it's the most difficult one to learn to use. (those of you not into photography probably think that's crazy, but it's so technical!)
the beauty of mine and megan's relationship is that she understands my desire to be alone when i'm really into something. she also is able to put her foot down and say "snap out of it and give me some attention, i need you right now."
she's learned that if i'm engaged in something, just leave me be. i'll stick to it until i figure it out or feel sick from hunger. she's incredible that way. in just under 16 more days, i get to marry that girl. man, i'm ready!
